Styled Solutions' company roots are based in consulting services exclusively in the outdoor cooling industry. After years in the field we recognized significant gaps in available equipment and supplies to truly take advantage of technological and theoretical advances in outdoor cooling. Taking a pro-active approach, we started our manufacturing division to fill the gaps and provide contractors and architects with the products needed to create truly comfortable outdoor areas.

Motor Upgrade on ZG Series Pumps

We have recently upgraded our ZG series pump motors to Leeson WattSaver® industrial inverter duty TEFC motors, for added efficiency and superior dependability. Designed for the abuse, these motors allow us to integrate active thermal protection in addition to our passive thermal protection provided by the VFD control system.

What is outdoor cooling?

Outdoor cooling is the process of attempting to combat mother nature by controlling outdoor environments in hot climates. Typically, outdoor cooling is much more effective in arid climates such as the US southwest. The most effective and efficient methods of outdoor cooling are all based on evaporative cooling. Three main elements compose all outdoor cooling designs:

Shade: Protection from the heat source (sun)
Air Flow: Proper air flow is a must for cooling to function
Evaporative Cooling: Introduction of water for evaporation
